To lecture in the galleries, reserve a lecture's badge in advance.

Museum-Guided Tours
Enhance your visit and receive a one-hour guided tour led by a highly trained museum docent. Get an insider's view of the Museum and customize your tour with a special ficus on highlights of the Museum's permanent collection, a particular exhibition, theme, or gallery. For tour topics, please call the Museum Office at 419-499-2968.

One guide is required per 25 people.

Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

Two-Museum Visit:
The Milan Historical Museum and Thomas Edison Birthplace Museum
Groups may make appointments to visit The Thomas Edison Birthplace Museum, located 1/4 mile north of the MHM on a hilltop overlooking the Milan Canal Basin.

If you plan to visit the Museum and The Thomas Edison Birthplace Museum on the same day, your group pays admission to both museums.

Dining & Museum Store Packages
Groups may reserve customized boxed dining packages that include lunch, dinner, or tea. The Museum offers a picnic area for large groups to dine. Information for Bus Drivers
Buses may park along Edison Drive North, in front of the Milan Historical Museum. The recommended return route is north on Edison Drive to Front Street, west on Front Street across Milan Public Square, south on Main Street and back onto State Route 113.
